AAA Action Day 2005
The second AAA Action Day took place on 28 February-1 March 2005. One of the central events organised by EULAR in Brussels was a lunch debate in the European Parliament for EULAR and Social Leagues representatives and officials from the European institutions. The patients representatives’ workshop aimed at providing information about the functioning of EU institutions and sketching future joint actions needed to convince EU decision-makers of the need to give rheumatic diseases a more visible place in policy making. Not least, several meetings between patients’ representatives and members of the European Parliament, European Commission and the Council took place during the two days.
