EULAR awards for special achievements

In recognition of special achievements in the field of rheumatic diseases, EULAR has established a programme of special awards that are granted each year. While the Young Investigator Award and the Abstract Award honor singular individual achievements, the Meritorious Service Award is designed to honor lifetime contributions to rheumatology. The EULAR Centres of Excellence are rheumatology research units in Europe that are recognized for continued excellence in research publications. The Stene Prize for patients is a bi-annual prize bestowed on the winner of an essay contest.
