Late Breaking Abstract Information

 

The submission of Late Breaking Abstracts is terminated.

 

GENERAL
Abstracts can only be submitted online via the online abstract submission system. Abstracts sent by post or email will not be accepted. No exceptions will be made.

 

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
The internet abstract submission system works best with Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 or higher.
- Cookies need to be enabled
- All pop-up blockers should be turned off

 

Late Breaking Abstracts will provide an opportunity to communicate the most recent clinical and scientific breakthroughs to participants of the EULAR congress 2008 in Paris. It is not considered a prolongation of the regular Abstract Submission ending 31 January 2008.

 

Late Breaking Abstracts are accepted from 15 February 2008 until 28 March 2008 midnight Central European Time. Please use the link on the right to start submitting a Late Breaking Abstract.

 

In addition to the general abstract submission information which can be accessed though this link, the following specific rules and regulations apply:

 

  • The deadline for submitting Late Breaking Abstracts is 28 March 2008. Abstracts submitted after this time will not be considered.
  • Late Breaking abstracts will be scored by members of the Scientific Programme Committee or designated reviewers.
  • Submitted abstracts must achieve high aggregate scores to be eligible for oral presentation at the congress; abstracts not achieving this standard will be rejected. There will be no opportunity to present a poster.
  • The decision of the Review Team is final.
  • Late Breaking Abstracts accepted for the congress must be presented orally by the first author in a session assigned by EULAR. The available time to present will be 10 minutes.
  • Accepted Late Breaking Abstracts will be published in the “Annals of Rheumatic Diseases”.
  • To submit a Late Breaking Abstract, a non-refundable fee of EUR 100 will be charged at the time of on-line submission.  All major credit cards are accepted. Unpaid fees will lead to rejection of the abstract.
