The Palais des Congrès de Paris is now setting its sights on extending its international dimension and attracting even more visitors from all four corners of the world. As such, it now has a unit entirely dedicated to international development. “Its creation is an indication of our strong desire to be fully involved in the international markets," explains Michaël Cleva, Director of Sales and Development at Congrès-Expositions.
Among other international congresses, the Palais will host The European College of Neuropharmacology in 2006, the AIPCR World Road Congress in 2007, The European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology in 2008, and The World Congress on Gerontology in July 2009, with more than 10,000 delegates expected.
The Palais des Congrès de Paris is also improving its digital communications by reworking
its entire website, opting for a simple interface with a multi-criteria search engine for both
professionals and the general public. This overhaul has enhanced the site’s visibility, and
has boosted the number of visitors to the site by 30% since January 2006.
