Promotion of EULAR Charter for Work on national level
The Work Charter developed by EULAR has been presented and discussed at various occasions with politicians and others on a European level. It is, however, vital for the success of the ideas expressed in the charter that the national leagues in Europe promote these matters of concern in their countries. For this purpose, EULAR has developed a practical campaigning pack with expert tips and advice on how to create and run a successful campaign. The campaign pack is available from the EULAR Secretariat.
Working Wonders Exhibition
In order to support and illustrate the EULAR Charter for Work and to show the faces behind numbers and facts EULAR developed the "Working Wonders Exhibition". 16 panels provide intriguing insights into the daily life of people with arthritis when it comes to work. The exhibition was launched in the European Parliament by MEP Jim Higgins (Ireland) and EU Commissioner for Health, Mrs Androulla Vassilliou (Cyprus) in October 2009. If a national society or league wishes to use the Working Wonders Exhibition panels for a local event, please write to the EULAR Secretariat for the guidelines and order form.
