It is the objective of EULAR to promote task forces aimed at facilitating, standarising and evaluating specific tools commonly used in rheumatic disorders ( e.g., MRI, ultrasound, bone densitometry, etc.).

 

Ongoing initiatives

Because of the rapidly and significantly increasing importance of imaging for rheumatology, EULAR has set up a specific Standing Committee on Musculoskeletal Imaging. Chairman of the imaging committee is Philip Conaghan to whom all applications related to imaging should be sent.

How to apply

An application (synopsis of the protocol) should be sent to the chairperson of ESCCA. In the case of a project that includes education/training of rheumatologists as an objective, such application should also be sent to the chairperson of the EULAR Standing Committee on Education and Training. In this case, it must also be in accordance with the procedures of that standing committee.
