How to apply
An application (synopsis of the protocol including the evaluated treatments, the characteristics of the disease to be treated, the primary outcome variable and the potential participating centers) should be sent to the chairman of ESCISIT at least 6 weeks prior to the upcoming Executive Committee meeting (in general mid-March, June at the congress and second-half of September).
Such applications will be reviewed by two external reviewers, and the decision to support this trial will be with the EULAR Executive Committee. Support can be at two levels: scientific support, and if yes, potential financial support from EULAR.
In all cases, any financial support obtained and/or expected by bodies different than EULAR has to be clearly mentioned in the application.
