Standing Committee of People with Arthritis/Rheumatism in Europe
EULAR Autumn Conference

The EULAR Autumn Conference is an annual meeting of people with arthritis/rheumatism in Europe organised by the EULAR Standing Committee of PARE. The main goals of the conference are education, specialized training and networking. Originally called "Arthritis People on the Move (APOM)" as the Worldwide Conference of Arthritis and Rheumatism Patient Societies, it will be known as EULAR Autumn Conference from the beginning of 2008. This change reflects the key role of the EULAR Standing Commitee of PARE as the main organiser of the conference as well as its association with EULAR.

From 1997-2003 APOM was organised once a year, usually in the Autumn, solely by the EULAR Social Leagues. In 2004 it was for the first time officially organised in partnership by the EULAR Social Leagues and the PARE Manifesto project (APOM / PARE Manifesto Representatives Meeting) and both networks were invited to the event. Ever since the beginning, the conference has been a site for specialized training provided to the member countries by the Standing Committee.
