Activities in 2019

In 2019, the theme of the EULAR Campaign is Time2Work.

Ireland marked its National Arthritis Week on 8-14 April 2019, and had as its theme #Time2Work.

An extensive programme of activities was organised around the country, and ranged from information talks to public buildings being lit-up with orange light (the Arthritis Ireland colour), as well as social and exercise activities, highlighting key themes around movement and health. Photo opportunities with national and local politicians were achieved, including with Ireland’s deputy prime minister, Simon Coveney TD, and also with a leading Irish sport star, amongst others.

 

Presentations and information stands were organised in a variety of workplaces, including Irish Pride bakery, Wexford County Council, Cork County Council, Longford County Library and Cork University Hospital.
