Results of the first open call for projects using the combined EULAR & Global Registry Data

EULAR is glad to announce that 6 project proposals have been accepted during the first open call for projects using the combined data from the EULAR COVID-19 Database and the COVID-19 Global Rheumatology Alliance registry.

The topics to be addressed by the selected projects are:

  • The outcomes of COVID-19 in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (PI Manuel F Ugarte-Gil),
  • The outcomes of COVID-19 in patients with idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (PI Pedro Machado),
  • The outcomes of COVID-19 in patients with spondyloarthritis including psoriatic arthritis (PI Pedro Machado),
  • The outcomes of COVID-19 in patients with gout (PIs Philip Robinson and Rebecca Grainger),
  • The outcomes of COVID-19 in patients with vasculitis (PI Sebastian Sattui)
  • An analysis of the Irish data from the Database (PI Ronan Mullan)

EULAR COVID-19 Database

The EULAR - COVID-19 Database is a European paediatric and adult database (in collaboration with the Pediatric Rheumatology European Society (PReS)) to monitor and report on outcomes of “Coronavirus Disease 2019” (COVID-19) occurring in patients with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs).
