EUREKA Bursary Opportunity

Call for applications for the EUREKA Institute for Translational Medicine Certificate Program – EULAR is offering the possibility for two young rheumatologists to participate in 2018!

We would like to draw your attention to the EUREKA Certificate Program and to EULAR’s offer of sponsoring the participation of 2 young rheumatologists to the program.

EUREKA is an exciting initiative that aims to encourage translational medicine and its application by developing a network of emerging leaders in translational medicine with established academics and educators and delivering effective education in translation medicine (http://www.eurekainstitute.org)

One of EUREKA’s activities is an intensive seven-day annual certificate program that instills the principles of translational medicine using a diverse range of teaching techniques that also focuses on creative problem-solving strategies and novel skills to approach the challenges of translational medicine.

Sessions on team building and opportunity for personal mentoring are also included in the programme. The faculty comprises prestigious and expert scientists, educators and institutional administrators. The program cost is €2500/participant, however EULAR has kindly offered to sponsor the participation of 2 young rheumatologists.

Applications should be submitted through EMEUNET. Applicants should be rheumatologists, less than 40 years of age with an interest/research focus in translational medicine.
